Read: Luke 18:9-14
Key verse/s: " To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable...For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted." vs. 9, 14b
Realizations:
Thank God for reconciliation. Thank God for the Holy Spirit. Thank God for His family.
The past few days, God has been pruning my heart to become humble especially in reconciling with some of my friends. Many, many times my pride got in the way saying, "What did I do wrong? I don't deserve to be hurt this way. I was just concern about him/her. Why should I say sorry?" Just pondering on saying "sorry" was making my heart rebel against God.
But the Holy Spirit opened the "law" in my heart and brought me to this scripture. In front of God, everyone stands on level ground. No one is so right above the other. We are imperfect and therefore all our opinions can be flawed. What matters before God is whether we are humble or we are prideful.
In the spirit of reconciliation, I know that many of us will try to talk to each other and resolve things. Please remember, just as God reminded me that, the one who's humble is the one who will please God. The one who will admit that he is a sinner and undeserving of anything before God will go home justified and forgiven by man and by God.
Congratulations to all who have reconciled already and to those who haven't, continue praying for God to give you the right heart.

Gratitude and Wisdom
Dear God, good morning po! It's been hard thinking about the right campaign for HOPE lately. So far, I feel good about our corporate cash sponsors' campaign. What are the loopholes? Our sponsors might think there is very little mileage considering the amount that they will give.
Lord, I just read the testimony of Chris and Connie's conversation. It is truly inspiring. I am so, so, so, very proud of You! Of how you change people's lives just like that. God, no wonder you love saving people. It't the most amazing thing you can do. You are so awesome!
Thank you Lord for giving us hope in this life. Thank you Lord for letting us know there isa grander life after this life. Thank you Lord for changing us, and for giving us the most awesome gift there is. That is Jesus Christ.
Lord, thank you talaga. Thanks for baptizing Chris and Connie and for opening the doors to many, many more disciples who want to become like Jesus. Lord, revive your church because you are the God of this church, and no one can ever bring it down.
Lord, I pray that you give us wisdom as to how to reach out to people. Give us ideas as how to make HOPE vision of 1 million children empowered a reality, with fundraising on the side. Lord, show us the perfect mix of those two. Thank you Lord. May you please help us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Marriage
Lord, bless our marriage and help us to love each other as Christ loves us. Lord, teach us to be patient and loving to each other. Please teach us to always communicate calmly and with grace. Lord, please help us glorify you in our hearts, our actions, and our words. May we always consider Your presence whenever we are tempted to be ungodly, unloving, and unrighteous to each other.
Lord, please use our lives to become instruments to people's salvation. Strengthen our hearts and make us bold to share about Jesus to everyone. Lord, strengthen us because we are weak wihtout You. WE love You Lord. Help us to become a blessing to our families, not just financially but more so, spiritually. We love you Lord. Amen.

Nehemiah 6
Nehemiah 6
How Nehemiah faced opposition and threats both to his work in Jerusalem and his life, is really amazing. He stood resolved that God will give him victory and will protect his life. He didn't waiver under intimidation, fear, doubts, discouragement. Instead, He put His trust in the Lord.
"Now strengthen my hands", he prayed.
He also did not sin by running away, nor by revenging against his enemies. His strength was the Lord.
When finally Nehemiah completed the walls in 52 days, the surrounding nations became convinced that he accomplished his work with God's help. They lost their self-confidence. God was glorified!
Lord, when at the end of every project in HOPE, people stand back to evaluate our work, may they always say, "What you have done is because of the Lord's help!" Help us not to set humanistic goals, but goals worthy of your name. We love you Lord. Amen.

Good morning Father!
This is a wonderful morning and I am faithful that it will be a victorious one. Lord, thank You for being my Father, my ever present help in times of toruble. Lord, you deserve to be worshipped more than my heart can ever offer. Lord, you deserve to be worshipped by me all heart, mind, and soul.
It's true what the song says, your love us intoxicating. Lord, you are my stronghold. I couldn't go trhough life without you. I will be forwever lost without you. Thank you for Jesus for giving us a chance to go to heaven. Thank you for giving us an awesome mission to go and make disciples of all nations.
Lord, let me always carry the nission in my heart, wherever I go. Lord, I'm going tocall Henry now. I pray that he replies favorably. Lord, I pray that you bring not just Julia, but more artists to the HOPE Walk, not just the HOPE Walk but the Center of HOPE. Lord, please bless our efforts with success. You determine our success Lord.

Thank you for the photographers who are fired up to help raise funds for HOPE. THank your for the plans that are in place. Thank you for our team. Thank you for our dreams.
