Prayer 01/24/07

Dear God,

Thank you that I am free to worship you and serve you, not out of duty but out of gratittude and love!!! Thank you that I don't need to perform in order to be made complete in you, and to be loved by you!!! Thank You Lord! Please help me to remember this everyday, especially during times when I feel disappointed with myself. Help me to remember who You are and what Jesus did for me. Colossians 2:9-10.

Lord, thank you that you have given me a Spirit that doesn't let me rest when I'm in sin, and who would bother me when I want to sin some more. Thank you that I can enjoy my relationship with You. Thank you that I'm no longer bound to the limitations of this world. I can think about heaven, aspire about heaven, and great things on earth, because my spirit is no longer worldly.

Lord, you have rescued me from the toils of this world that only results to perishable things. Lord, I now view money as only a means, an instrument, a tool to bless people, to advance your kingdom, to finance the works of your causes. And I am fired up to inspire others as well. Lord, use our lives for your greater glory. That is the most awesome life I can ever have.

Thank you Lord for the awesome worship service in our barangay last sunday. I know it is only a shadow of things to come. Please increase my faith regarding my parents becoming disciples. Somehow, my heart is giving up on them, thinking "Ive done my best. If they don't become disciples, it's because they chose not to." Lord, help me to surrender completely to your ways and to your time. Help me to trust your own beautiful time Lord God.

Father, please forgive me for my sins of impurity, pride, impatience, anger, short temper. Please help me change. Please teach me to love people the way Jesus will. Lord, it's so hard to know how to love people. It's the hardest thing to learn. Teach me Lord.

Father, I want to lift up the following requests to you, knowing that you are listening intently and giving your anwers before the word is on my tongue. Lord, here are my answered prayers:

1. To witness my parents' change in life as they study the Bible.
2. To baptize my parents in the waters of baptism before moving to the states
3. To see my sister's heart changed and her attitude towards the Bible and the church changed
4. To see Bob's heart rekindled for You
5. To witness my whole family become disciples together
6. To see a church rise up in my village
7. To have a passion for advancing God's kingdom through wealth building
8. To learn real estate and mortgaging, and servicing people through Christian values
9. To build a printing press that will publish good books on relationships
10. To build a foundation that will finance church plantings and will send children to practical business schools
11. To have children who will carry the dream of advancing God's Kingdom
12. To reach out to our families in the US
13. To see Alyssa choose to become God's disciple
14. To build a good relationship with Alyssa
15. To make an impact in the Minneapolis Church of Christ
16. To not get tired of learning how to love people
17. To be supportive wife to my husband
18. To be one with my husband in all our dreams and aspirations
19. For people to get healed from their sickness: Connie's mom, Rene, Nanay, Tatay, Jolly's mom, Mom's insomnia
20. Great surprises for Marie and Alo's wedding
21. Bien and Lolit to be engaged before we leave for the states
22. Miriam, my friend to find you
