Psalm 143:10

"Teach me to do your will, for you are my God;
may your good Spirit lead me on level ground."

Dear God,

Life is full of twists and turns that I can't seem to figure out. I rely on you for wisdom and direction. Sometimes, when I don't walk closely with you, I feel lost. Even then, please be merciful upon me and lead me to your ways.

Help me to keep a humble heart and a contrite spirit, that I may always be in tune with you. Guide me to your instructions, as a map guides a treasure hunter to his gold.

And also, I pray that you give me the wisdom to pass on your instructions to others, especially to the future generations...especially to my children. Please give them soft and sincere hearts that love and respect You.

Thank you for the stories of the people in the Bible. Through them, I see that we are never perfect, but as long as You are our God, and we keep our humility before you, we are blessed. Help us to never give up on serving even when it hurts.
